MISSION: My mission is to help you make a stronger connection with body, mind, and spirit through modification-forward asana (posture) practices, guided meditation, and yoga philosophy-based workshops with a western world perspective.
METHOD: I strive to meet you right where you are when you arrive on your yoga mat, helping you release self-doubt, balance body and mind, and feel an inner sense of calm. Whether you prefer connecting movement and breath in a traditional Hatha class, soft stretching in a relaxing Gentle class, luxurious healing in a Restorative class, or a joint-focused Yin class, I welcome adults of all levels and offer modifications in all classes. In addition to asana (posture) and pranayama (breathwork)-centric classes, I offer Yoga in Nature and Yoga Philosophy workshops.
QUALIFICATIONS: As a former Type A team leader, figure skater, and race car driver, I was introduced to yoga in 2012 as a way to manage stress, regain flexibility, and find balance. Yoga delivered! I am RYT®500 certified through Barefoot Yoga School and Radiant Spirit School of Yoga with specialized training in yoga philosophy with a western world perspective, guided meditation, pranayama, restorative yoga, yin yoga, trauma sensitive yoga, and modification-forward asana practices.
